how to change a keyboard setting

D

Distraught Mother

hi
The shift key was held down and a pop up window came up. OK was clicked and
now we are unable to double type a key. How do you turn this off?

It really slows down typing!
Thanks

Start menu > Settings > Control Panel > Accessibility Options. Uncheck "Use
FilterKeys".

To prevent it from happening again, click the Settings button and uncheck
"Use shortcut". You should probably do the same for the other two
accessibility options.

And remember what you've done if you ever break your arm and find yourself
using the keyboard one-handed! <g>

(FilterKeys isn't that great, but I found ToggleKeys really helpful.)
