How to change activity ID numbers

I am taking a Grad class in construction management that requires th
use of some computer scheduling software. The professor gives us networ
diagrams with certain id numbers for each activity but do not go i
numerical order starting with 1, instead they go in values of 10 (ex
10, 20, 30).

I can't seem to find a way to enter my own unique ID numbers for eac
activity in project other than the conventional (1, 2, 3, 4....). Ho
can I enter in my own ID numbers

Hi Whiteyford

You could insert a custom no. field.

Insert / Column
Select Number1

Enter your IDs

To use this column instead of the ID column in the first column - see below


Go into
View / Table:Entry / More Tables
Select Copy
change name of table
Instead of ID select Number1
OK
Apply

NOTE - the predecessors & successors still use the original ID. (Other
software packages are different)

Take a look at the WBS options in the Project menu where you can define your
own codes.
