Could it be that you are using your word processing application like a
typewriter... and hitting the return key at the end of every line.
If so -- Word is interpretting this as "the end of that paragraph... next
line... begin a new paragraph" and thus starts the new paragraph with a
capital letter.
Two options:
1) let Word automatically wrap to the next line at the end of the line (do
not hit the return key). When you are truly ready to begin a new paragraph,
hit the return key.
2) On the Tools --> Autocorrect Menu -- remove the check mark from
Capitalize first letter of sentences.
