How to change default download folder for attachments in Entourage

Have Entourage 2004 running on Tiger and not sure how, or if, possible
to change the default download folder for attachments. Have noticed
third party program that accomplishes this for Outlook( in Windows
world) and wondering if anything exists for Mac.
Or if it's possible to manually edit some preference file, would do if
I knew which one it was. Currently default is to download to hard
drive, want to change to desktop.

See these "remove attachment" scripts. They will save, remove and link the
saved files to the message, so you can open the file directly from the
message.

To download files from your browser, you set that preference in the browser.
