How to change Gantt chart task symbol from nothing to something?

Greetings! Changed the format on a summary task Gantt chart to nothing, now
would like to change it to something, but can't figure out how to activate
the format dialog box for that particular task. Ideas?

Hi,

I haev two problems with this post.
First, it seems to ask for a manual solution, but it is posted in the
developer newsgroup - are you looking for VBA code? If so, could you ask for
that explicitly, and if not, public.project is the more normal NG to post
to.

Secondly I think you mean the Bar; if you talk aboyut the text I can
reconsider.

Now for the good news
Select the task (in the left part of the view)
Format menu
Bar
Reset.
