How to change Icons

How do you change the Icon of the Db File. For Example: If
I make a short cut to my desk top, or installed the Db
file on my desk top, how do you change the db Icon?

Right-click the icon, select Properties/Shortcut/Change Icon.

Changing it for the shortcut is fairly simple. Right click the shortcut,
choose Properties, and on the ShortCut tab click the Change Icon button.

To change the icon displayed in Windows Explorer or on the Desktop for the
file itself is more complicated. Open an Explorer window, such as My
Computer, and go to Tools|Folder Options. On the File Types tab, scroll down
to the file type you want to change. Highlight (click on) the file type and
click the Advanced button. Next, click the Change Icon button. This will
change the icon for ALL files with the file extension that you chose.
