How to change linked picture source folder for all pictures?

I have hundreds (at least) of INCLUDEPICTURE fields in Word, with no path
specified for the link (as if the files reside in the same folder as the Word
file). The files are on a server, and the link definition needs to be changed
to indicate that.

In the Edit > Links dialog box, I would like to select all graphic files and
change the source, WITHOUT having to select each file name. Is there a way to
tell Word to just change the main path, and leave all the file names as they
were?

Thx for your help.

I did try that, but it didn't seem to work. I'll try it again and report
back.

Why not display the field codes and use Find and Replace?

Suzanne,
The search worked fine once I checked/corrected the format of the path for
the INCLUDEPICTURE field (double backslashes are required, as in
Z:\\myproject\\mypix\\pix.png."

Thx much for the reality check.
