How to change meeting dates/times only for future instances

Hello,

I would like to know if there is a way to schedule different date/time for a
series of recurring meetings only for meetings in the future. For example, I
have scheduled staff one-on-one meetings (individual invites) for the rest of
the year, but I need to change these just for some staff members to a
different date/time. I would like to keep the old meetings in my Calendar
for reference purposes.

There is this functionality, as described, in Lotus Notes, but I can't find
it as an automated function in Outlook. Short of deleting the previous
recurring meeting (thus losing all the data in the notes and the history as
well) and creating a new series of recurring meetings, I don't see how this
can be accomplished.

Any thoughts, ideas, pointers?

Thank you.

You can make exceptions one meeting at a time or change the end date on the
current appointments and make a new one with the new date and time.

Before doing anything, I highly recommend making a copy of the meeting,
either by copying and pasting it when in the By category view or exporting
your calendar to Excel. Changing the end date could cause you to lose notes
and exceptions.

When you export to excel, you break the occurrences into individual
appointments and can import the appointments back into Outlook as single
items with the notes intact. (Delete all the other appointments from the
Excel workbook).

You'll need to make a new event for those people. Recurring events in Outlook
are single items in the calendar. You can't change the recurrence mid-stream.

Thank you, Diane, that was a very good suggestion.
