How to change multiple items to private?

Lisa

Hi,

I have Outlook 2003. If I have multiple items in the Calender that I want to
change them from Public to Private, how can I do it at once instead doing it
one by one? I have a lot of them. It's annoying to open each of them and
check private.

Thanks in advance!

Lisa

Create a custom view - use table layout and group by the private field. The
drag the items from the No group to the Yes group. You could also show the
private field in a table view (like By Categories) and with In cell editing
enabled, you can check the box in the Private column.

Hi Diane, thank you so much for your reply and also very glad that there is a
way to make it. But I am sorry, can you put more details like how to do it in
steps? I am not very good at Calendar.

Thanks again,
Lisa

See http://www.slipstick.com/Tutorials/private/private.htm for a step by
step. It's just the raw video right now, I'll update the page next. Set a
table view (by categories works well) then Right click on the row of field
names and choose field chooser.
