I am trying to move a Stationary Template I Created from Travel to Business
and Can't seem to do it. Also, would like to be able to specify Catagory I
place new Stationary template in.

This isn't supported directly but there is a hack.

OneNote stationery files are stored in two locations: created by the user in
"Application Data\Microsoft\Templates" and pre-installed in "Program
Files\Microsoft Office\Templates\1033\OneNote". The category is defined by
the section(=file) where the stationery is stored then each page in the
section is the separate stationery. You can open the stationery files
directly in OneNote and move pages between them as you would for any other
section.

I'd recommend you make a copy of the stationery files you want to modify and
practice a bit first as the operation isn't undoable.

Note: I wonder how did you create "Travel" category - by default all user
created stationery goes into "My Stationery"... And there is no hack to
change this.

It worked. Your right it is a hack but I can pretty much accomplish what I
need with this. Thanks a bunch.

Thanks a bunch Irina ! This is a great TIP, I was wondering how to do
this. It works better than I had expected. Easy and quick.

I think it might be prudent to make it easier on users to create new
categories of Stationary.

In the right hand stationary pane, there is an option to "Create a New
Stationary". Possibly a link to "Add a Stationary Category" would be
helpful.

Or Under Tools ... have a "Stationary Manager".

Possibly On Starting OneNote, for the first time, there might be a
Wizard that would allow users to Create some of their own categories
right from the start.
