how to change text hi light color in text box?

How does one change the default hilight color for selected text inside
a text box? When I click inside a text box it hilights inside the
text box purple. I want my text to be purple, so as I type I can not
see my text since. It is the same color as the selected text box. How
can I change this purple default color for the selected text box to
another color? Thanks in advance for your help.
