I have had a request to change the default colour of a
blank word document for a user.
We are running Office 2002 on XP pro. I can chane the
colour by changing the display properties-
Appearance tab,
Advanced,
Item, (Select Window)
Then change colour 1
This allows me to change the colour but the change does
not survive a logoff/logon.
We have restricted access to the display properties for
our users via group poloicy. The changes I make have been
by using Runas against desk.cpl while logged on as the
user.
To clarify the Active directory restriction we have, we
do not allow the users to make changes themselves but
normally any changes made using the above method are
remembered.
I am sure this is an AD thing but I have run out of ideas!
Any help greatly appreciated.
