how to change the default font size for comments?

Does anyone know how to do that. It is by default set at 18. I would
like powerpoint to open new comments with a size 12 by default?

Any help would be much appreciated

Have not found a way to do so even though the Cmd+Click menu suggests that
you can.

Keep in mind, though, that Comments in PPt are nothing more than
preformatted rectangular AutoShapes that pull in the User ID info & offer
the Hide feature. You may be able to get along with other AutoShapes instead
of actual Comments, and you _can_ set the default formatting for them.

Note that this may change in future versions. It already has in PPT2002 and
later for Windows where Comments are a new sort of critter, no longer
Autoshapes and no longer formattable in any way I can see.
