how to change the display in the reviewing pane

In Office 2000, comments in the reviewing pane showed the initials of the reviewer and then comments immediately beside it. In Office 2003, the comments are on a line below the name of the reviewer and the date etc. It takes a long time to scroll through the additional lines. Is there a way to change the reviewing pane to be like Office 2000?
