how to change the domain name in windows security dialog box of pw

I make an extranet environment of project web access site.
but when the user open the project web access site he pop-up dialog box of
windows security with the required of username and password . but domain is
still un editable . how can the user can change the domain name in this
dialog before press enter.

Sam - the user may enter credentials in the following format -

domain\username
