how to change ther margins on microsoft office 2007?

I HAVE MIRCOSOFT OFFICE 2007 AND I HAVE EXPERIENCE PROBLEMS TO CHANGE THE
MARGINS. THE PAGE IS PROGRAMED (DEFAULT) FOR LEGAL SIZE AND THE MARGINS ARE
2.5 CENTIMETERES (1 INCH) FOR ALL SIDES. IN THE CASE THAT I HAVE WRITEN ON
ALL PAGE THE WHEN I SEE THE DOCUMENT WITH ON THE PRINTER PREVIEW IT ONLY CAN
BE SEEN AS LETTER SIZE. IF I TRY TO CHANGE THE MARGIN ON THE BOTTOM IT
APPEARS A WINDOW THAT SAYS THAT THE MARGIN ARE OFF OF PRINTING MARGINS AND
ASK ME TO FIX THE PROBLEM, AND IF I DO IT AUTOMATICALLY CHANGE ONLY THE
BOTTOM MARGIN TO 8.84 CENTIMETERS. IT ALSO HAPPENS IF I CHANGE THE SIZE OF
PAPER. THE RESULT, WHEN I SEND TO PRINT, THE PRINTER ONLY PRINTS THE
INFORMATION THAT I CAN SEE ON THE PRINT PREVIEW. I ALSO TRIED TO CHANGER THE
NORMAL TEMPLETE AND IT HAPPENED THE SAME THING.
