Greetings to all of you who read this thread.

I am about to plan and design a database but I would like to know how I can
set the price for it.
I do not know if charge by the time it's going to take me or by the number of
forms, tables, reports, etc.
I would like to have an opinion from since I have to elaborate a project of
it.

If you are building the application for a single user, with no plans to
"market" it to a wider audience, consider charging an hourly rate.

If you will be expecting to sell the application to a wider audience,
consider how much you would need to receive for each copy you could
(reasonably) expect to sell before you would recapture your hourly amount.

Are you going to provide on-going support? For free, or for a charge?
