How to check if client matches office administration point at logo

I basically want to check and then update (only if needed) a client's version
of office each time a user logs on. I have an office administration point
which I keep up to date. Is there a way for clients to do a quick check to
determine if their version is up to date with the administration point
install, and then install only as needed? I cannot find instructions on ORK
to allow this to happen. All examples I see are to REINSTALL specific
updates or ALL updates. Unfortuneately, these are very time consuming
processes, which users can't be expected to wait that long at each logon.

Please help point me in the right direction to any resources available.
