I have been a user of groove for the last 4 years. I manage the deployment
for over 200 users
Recently my PC started to run out of C: space. Of the 60GB drive, groove was
using over 40GB. the major storage user is now Groove. Groove was freshly
installed on this machine in Oct/06
the Groove binary file store has > 18,000 files adding up over 40 GB of
space
I can't find any means the trim this down or reduce the number or size of
files.
Are there any means to trim this down?
The sum total of all data in all my w/s i s less than 2 gb, why is the
binary data store so big?
i run grooveclean everyone two weeks as a minimum, some times a few times
per week. I also instruct others to do the same four step process
1. shut Groove down
2. run grooveclean.exe
3. start groove
4. click work online
The history on this machine only goes back 8 months
any suggestions
