How to clean up the standard templates/stationaries in OneNote207

I don't use all those standard templates/stationaries.
I've read they could be deleted in OneNote2003 by opening the *.ONE files in
the templates folder(in the ...\Microsoft Office\Templates\1033\ONENOTE
folder).
I did that, it works when you open the template files from the templates
folder, but the templates still appear when I use the New Page button inside
OneNote2007.

Which "templates section"?
Something in the MS newsgroup?
If so, why not crossposting with a "Fup'2" (follow up to ..) to one of the
groups?

I do not use any of those either.

But why delete the stuff?
Does it hurt in any way (except storage capacity on C:\) ?

On the left side of your screen it says "Templates", right?
I don't know what crossposting is.
But why delete the stuff?
Because I don't want them.
They clutter up my screen.

I hope someone can contribute for a real answer?

Jbmm shared these words of wisdom:

Sorry, I've been using ON 2003 only for a short time. I cannot
remember the handling of templates there :-(
I don't know what crossposting is.

Crossposting (also referred to as X-posting) is the possibility to
post one question in more than one newsgroup. An setting a "Follow-up
to" means that replies will only land in the one group.
But it seems that I overlooked that you don't work with a newsreader
to communicate in here but use the web-forum instead. This feature
AFAICS is not available there.
Because I don't want them.
They clutter up my screen.

Just wondering: is there really no way to switch this off ...
I hope someone can contribute for a real answer?

So do I.
I'm sorry for not being able to help :-( :-(
