If I want to see the headings in a document, I press CTRL-F to open the Navigation Pane. The pane always opens to Results and shows the last search term used. I find the highlighting annoying so I delete it when I switch to the Headings tab. My question is - is there any way to erase the search history so I don't have to go through the extra step of clearing the search bar? I tried recording a macro that would open the pane to the Headings tab and delete the search term, but it didn't work.
