How To Clear 'Read-Only' CD/DVD

I recently formatted my computer and am trying to import my backup Outlook
PST. file from DVD to Outlook. After being denied access to my DVD
containing the backup file, I right-clicked the DVD in My Computer, clicked
on properties and un-checked 'Read-Only' for the DVD. However, when I
clicked, "Apply" to un-checking Read-Only, an error popped up, "an error
occurred applying attributes to the file. Access denied". So I can not
import my DVD backup file. Is there anyway to get past the 'Read-Only'?
Thanks.

Rob,
I went to send an email and when I clicked on the address book to send,
"To", there are no names/addresses in 'Contact' or 'Address Book'. Both are
blank. Again, the names and addresses are in my Address Book when I click on
'My Contacts', but not when I click to send "To" in an email. Any idea what
I did wrong? Thanks again.
