How to close open dialog box using applescript

Hi All,

I have a applescript which opens powerpoint and create a new
presentation and does some more stuff. The problem is that when
PowerPoint 2004 start, it displays a dialog box (choose the type of
presentation to create), if the user does not dismiss this dialog box
manually then applescript times out.

Is there any way to ask PowerPoint, not to show any dialog box OR is
there a way to close any open dialog box via applescript.
