How to close the meesage card?

Hi, when I click onto Send/Recv button on top menu a dialogue box opens with
tabs 'Tasks' and 'Errors' on it.
After checking mail, I am sure this dialogue box used to close itself, it
does not now - how can I make it close automatically (if possible).

Thanks in anticipation.
