How to combine 2 files into 1?

I have a resume file and a cover letter file. Some companies want the
resume and cover letter in one file. That leaves me with a 3rd file I must
also update in synchonization. Is there a way to create one file or link in
other files to minimize the updating and synchonization in my case?

Thanks,
Brett

File3 is just File 1 and File 2 combined?

So to create File 3, just use Insert File twice (once for each file). If
this isn't so simple to create a new one after any updates, then look at the
IncludeText field to do the job.

Yes.

I wasn't sure how this was done. Instead, I inserted object and linked the
other two documents. What does it mean do display as icon? I tried that
and it will print the icon rather than content in the file.

Also, how can I do this for a text file since it doesn't allow linking?

Thanks,
Brett
