How to compact a section file

Hi,

I accidently inserted a 2Gig file into a OneNote page which caused
OneNote to blow up when it hit 1 Gig (so I've found that .ONE files
are limited to 1Gig). I restarted OneNote and deleted the icon for the
file.

However, the section file is now just under 1G. Can I compact it or do
I need to create a new section and copy everything over?

OK.

I found the option under Tools to compact the files and see that it
would have been done automatically after I stopped using OneNote for
30 minutes.

I'm impressed more and more with OneNote!
