how to compress a powerpoint file

I'm trying to compress an entire PP deck so I can e-mail it. I did manage to compress to a zip file but I want to compress it more.

As you're finding, file compression is not a magic potion that will reduce
any & all files to attachable size regardless of what the original is. You
may have to use other options - which ones depend on the nature of your
content as well as what the recipient needs to be able to do with it. If
they are just intended to view it that's one thing, if they need to be able
to edit it that's something else.

Especially in the latter case you may have to locate a web site to which you
can upload the file & have the recipient download it from there. If you
don't have your own web (supplied by your ISP, for example) you may want to
consider subscribing to Apple's MobileMe iDisk although there are other file
transfer sites - some of which are free.

If you supply the particulars about the nature & size of the file as well as
how it's intended to be used on the other end there may be some suggestions.

Hi,

Instead of using email, use one of the many new, free web sharing
services now available.

Visit
http://office.live.com/
http://www.mesh.com/

Both of these services let you upload your PowerPoint and distribute it
to whomever you please. The first one even has version control if you
decide you would like that.
