How to configure Microsoft Outlook 2000

I have tried different way to configure outlook under my
company email address and I have had many difficulties.
I have DSL with Bellsouth and they have told me that is a
Microsoft problem I can not receive either send email
from outlook. An error pop up said error 1068 can so
body out there can give me a feedback
