For advise on Outlook Express you should post to an OE newsgroup, they are
part of the IE groups, and or see http://www.insideoe.com/ for info on OE

Well you can use an after sending rule to check for message size - enter all
9's in the up to size field - then defer delivery for 120 min. You can't
display any warning using this method - just hold it and hold the sender
discovers it.

Oh, you could also use VBA to check the size and pop up and alert - there
should be utilities available too.

you need to write the action - do you know C++? If run a script is an
option you could pop up an alert - but at that point you might as well use
VBA.

You need macro security set to medium - ask to run unsigned macros. Then
restart outlook and ok the macros. Or sign the macro with selfcert.
