configure Microsoft Project server 2002 on windows 2003 server and how to
configure and install sharepoint Team Services to work with it on windows
2003 server ?

unfortunately, you cannot install MS-Project Server 2002
with MS-Windows 2003 server; actually both MS-SQL Server
and STS do not fit with W Server 2003.

I have tried myself a few days ago, and then have gone back
to Windows 2K for the all stuff to work.

2003 would be complete and workin by year end, they say.

inch'allah

Hi Alexandre,

This is not true. I have successfully configured PS2002 on a Windows 2003
Server. It is not necessarily a 'fun' job and can take some time getting
all the parts to run due to the new/tightened security model, but it will
run on 2003 Server.

Please refer to the KB article I posted earlier in this thread that outlines
the required extra steps required to perform a sucessful install.

Hi, Bill

Thanks for correcting me; I will print the KB page and do
my training.
What about SQL Server? Do you have SQL Server 2000 working
on the Windows 2003 server platform?

All the best

Hi Alexandre,

SQL Server will run on Windows 2003 Server, but I would recommend you
install at least SP3. You will also need to install the same SP level for
the SQL Analysis Services.
