Micheal

Hi ,

our company scenario is
(Project manager, team leader,team members)

when the team members enter hours and update them and the hours will send to
team leaders and when the team leaders will approve those tasks with hours
and send this to project managers. then project managers update this tasks
to proejct professional .
only project managers have a rights to update tasks to project professional.

is it possible ?
regards

Yes, this is possible by using the Task Delegation feature in the PWA
timesheet page. Here's how to do it:

1. The PM assigns a task to a team leader
2. The team leader delegates the task to the team member using the Task
Delegation feature in the PWA timesheet
3. When delegating the task, the team leader chooses to take the Lead Role
on the delegation
4. The PM approves the delegation request
5. The team member enters actuals and submits the task update
6. The team leader views the updates on his/her timesheet
7. If the update is acceptable, the team leader clicks Update All or Update
Selected Tasks to send the update to the PM

NOTE: If the task update is not acceptable, the team leader CANNOT formally
reject the update. Instead, he/she must inform the team member to fix the
task update and then send the update again.

8. The PM receives and approves the updates into the Microsoft Project plan

Please note that the task delegation process is a "one to one" relationship
only. The PM assigns a team leader to a task and the team leader can
delegate that task to only one team member. Hope this helps.
