How to connect to a FirstClass mail server?

My organization just switched to a new mail server called FirstClass by Open
Text Corp. Does anybody know how I can configure my Outlook 2003 to send and
recieve mail to and from this beast? It has its own client which they'd like
me to use, but I'd rather stay with Outlook. So far, I've been able to send
mail (SMTP), but I can't receive it. I think this thing is a POP3 server,
and Outlook is finding it, but getting no reply when it trys to authenticate
me. Anybody with experience with this thing? I'd appreciate some help.

if it supports POP3 or IMAP, it will work. if its not authenticating you'll
need to check their help files.
