how to consolidate multiple contacts folders

Select and drag all the Contacts into the default Contact folder.

Then you can delete the extra folders.

Thank you for replying to my post I am making a real effort to organize
myself. I am drawin heavy of the microsoft office suite for the home, office
and mobile to accomplish my goal.

It is in theupper left hand corner where in my contact paneI have: contacts,
contacts(2) and so on. some of the different contact list have different
names some do not. I want to combine a of the information from the seperate
contacts list into one, so I have just contacts; (so I can download into
other apps i.e. windows mobile pda).

I have tried highlight left click move and copy. it may move the folder but
i have seperate list in the my contacts pane. I also use the program plaxo
and dont know if that has contributed to the multiple folders.

Reply:

1. Do I drag the contacts in the upper left my contacts pane into other
contacts because that did not seem to work. It just move the order of contact
lists in the my contact folder.
