In an Exchange Server 2003 SP2 environment, I installed Office 2007 (leaving
Office 2003 installed)--except for Outlook which I have left as 2003. This is
because I want to have the same version as the users I support.
Now I get a nag that Outlook can't find Word 2003 to use as the email
editor. I want to continue using Office 2003 or Office 2007 as email editor.
Now it defaults to html and it is messing up my signature by inserting blank
lines between each line of the signature. I tried going into Tools - Options
- Mail format and checking the Office 2003 block but it comes up with the nag
message and defaults back to html.
All I want to do in Outlook 2003 is use Word (either 2003 or 2007) as the
editor and avoid the nags. How do I do this?
