How to conver 8.5x11 into 7.5x9

I tried converting Letter to 7.5x9 by changing the page size. I get big
margins on the header - any ready sample templates available to view. The
templates in the mvps.org is A4..

Changing the page size doesn't affect the margins - if you
started aout with 1.5" margins before changing the paper
size, you'd still have 1.5" margins after changing the
paper size. If the margins are now the wrong size, edit
them to suit.
