How to convert a Pocket PowerPoint document to PowerPoint

I have a PPT document that I synched with my PocketPC and it was converted to
a Pocket PowerPoint document (PPV) and now I cannot convert it back to PPT.

How can I resolve this or at least extract the text so I can start over with
a new PowerPoint doc?

You should be able to open it with NotePad to extract the text.

It should have done the conversion as a copy. Did you lose the original file?

I did a search of my hard drive and found a shortcut to the original PPT. It
didn’t find the document and offered to either “fix†the shortcut or delete.
I chose “fix†and by some miracle it opened the original document as a good
old PowerPoint file!

It’s back! PTL!
