How to convert an appointment to a task

I have Outlook 2003 and would like to know if you can change an existing
appointment (including contents) to a task.

I would appreciate any help

you can drag the calendar item to the task folder to create a task but you
can't 'flip a switch' and magically convert the appointment to a task.
