How to Convert same horizontal row to vertical row in Excel?

Is there anyway to "Copy" a horizontal row in Excel
and "Paste" it as a vertical column in Excel?

1. In EXCEL 2007 in cells A 21 to E 21 I type:-

a b c d e

(one letter in each cell).

2. Highlight cells A 21 to E 21 inclusive.

3. Ctrl-C to copy.

4. Go to cell I 8 for example (this can be any cell you like).

5. Home / Paste / Transpose

The letters a to e inclusive will now appear in cells I 8 to I 12 inclusive.

Is the above what you want?

NB! Something to be aware of!

The source range (the row you want to transpose from) and target range (the
column you want to transpose to) mustn't intersect! So when you want to
transpose the whole row, the destination must be on different sheet.
