How to convert Visio Pro 2003 Trial to Visio Standard 2003 product

I have tested Visio Pro 2003 Trial version and now I would like to buy the
Standard version. Is that possible by just buying the Standard equivalent
Product Key or should I first remove the trial version and install the
Standard version from CD after that? Some guidelines mentioned that the trial
and product versions must be the same, and if not, you have to buy the CD.
Another challenge is to buy just the Product Key. I wonder if that is at all
possible outside of the USA?

My guess is that you need to uninstall the Pro trial and obtain actual media
for the Standard product.

Thanks for the info. I give you a "hot" tip: forget CD distribution globally
and let people download the code from the network and just start to sell
Product Keys. I guess the same trial code might include both Pro and Standard
versions and depending on the Product Key, the appropriate version could be
enabled. I assume buying from the net is already possible in US but why not
elsewhere, too? For example, on my market area Visio is not available in any
shops but you must order CD and wait a considerable time. This is pretty
stupid because I have the 189 MB code already on my hard disk
