How to convert .wdb file to Office 2000 word or Excel

I have a .wdb file (Works Data Base file) I need to convert it to any Office
2000 product Work or Excel is prefered

Generally, converting a Works Data Base file to a .DBF or comma/tab delimited format is more cleanly done from the Works side as an
export. Office can use wdb files for mailmerge data sources if there aren't any 'calculated' fields in it.
