HelpwithAccessfor small business

This may seem like an odd question. I am a small business owner with stores
in each region of Canada. I am trying to assemble a database of inventories
from each region into one, but can't seem to get the files to work. I was
wondering if there was anyone out there who knew how to integrate database
information together either through spectrum space or by copy/paste, since
every time I try it seems to not be able to work. Also, is there any way to
have the store branches use Access to update their inventory holdings daily
in a way that all the branches would receive information as well. And if
this were done online, how do I keep it from being compromised? Thanks very
much.

If you are not using Access 2007, you might look into replication.

Here are some links but you can Google "replication" and find more.

If you are going to take your project to the web, I would suggest that you
go to an SQL database for security reasons and use ASP.net to create your
website. Take a look at Visual Web Developer 2008 (its free).

Greetings from Canada!

I'm a co-founder at EQL Data, a small startup in London, Ontario. We
make an Access plugin that allows one-click replication between copies
of a database, as well as publishing your databases to the web, which
might solve your problem.

We're in beta test right now, but I could get you a beta invitation if
you want.
