How to copy appointment to another date

Hi, i am trying to find a way to copy an appointment to another date
by maybe using a command button.
The reason why i a doing this way is to clear out some of the vales
during the copy process.
The user will select the date from a date picker.

Can anyone suggest any code that i can use or even another way that i
may be able to complete the copy.
