How can I copy content of a fillin field to another area of the same template
instead of having to input it again?

Hi PJEAN,

You could bookmark the FILLIN field, then insert cross-references to that bookmark wherever you need to results to be replicated. Do
note, though, that the results of the replication won't automatically update when you change the contents of the FILLIN field. To do
that, select the whole document (eg Ctrl-a) then press F9. This will cause the FILLIN field to prompt and update the
cross-references at the same time.

An alternative is to use a text formfield whose 'calculate on exit' property is set and the document is 'protected for forms'. With
this approach, if you insert cross-references to the formfield's bookmark name wherever you need to results to be replicated, the
cross-references will update immediately you tab out of the formfield. Do note though, that this makes the rest of the document
uneditable unless you use Section breaks to differentiate between Sections that you want to protect and those that you want to
remain editable.

It seems that the first option is probably the best since I need the
document to remain unprotected. Although I have done many documents with
fillin fields I have never used a book mark function. I looked for a
step-by-step help how to book mark the fields to follow your first suggestion
but didn't find one.

Select the field - Insert > Bookmark - give it a name - see
