How to copy data from non-office programs into office clipboard

I am trying to copy multiple graphs (metafiles) into Word. A great way of
doing that would be to copy directly into the office clipboard. Ideally, when
the external program copies into the system clipboard the latest system
clipboard item is directly copied into the office clipboard. Or do I need to
do this programatically?

I don't think you can do it at all. The Office clipboard is a private memory
area within an Office thread, not connected to the Windows clipboard.

Thanks Jay, interestingly I was sure that it worked at first, I was copying
meta-files into the clipboard from my program and I saw the Office clipboard
building up. I thought that was a standard feature. But after that - no idea
what changed or happened - I couldn't get it to work anymore.

Thanks for your reply.

Open Word, then click "Edit", "Office Clipboard", now open your
application and select copy, select, copy, select, copy...........

Look in the Office Clipboard now.
