In Office 2003, I could copy an Excel chart to Word via Powerpoint as an
Enhanced Picture Metafile for both steps. (using Alt>Edit>Paste Special and
select Enhanced Picture Metafile) The result was that I could move the chart
around in Word and place it where I wanted. Further the text didn't "bounce
around" when moving the chart. The final chart in Word, when selected, had
the eight little round empty circle handles with an additional "rotating"
green handle.
In 2007 I don't know how to get the end result I want, which is to be able
to copy an Excel chart (without the Excel background baggage) to Word and be
able to move it and resize it.
Any help would be appreciated.
