How to copy formula?

I have a formula in E65 and copy that cell to E79. There are cell values
between these two cells. The problem is that cell references in the formula
change. It isn't an exact copy. Is there a way to copy a formula and paste
it into a new cell without anything in the formula changing?

Thanks,
Brett

That's how it was being done. I have it solved. Copy the forumula bar,
then press escape. That deletes the references. Now you can paste it
exactly.

I'm in Excel XP on Win2k. It should work in 2000. After you copy a formula
cell, little marching ants surround the cell's perimeter. Does that happen
in 2000?

After you see the ants, press escape. That cancels copying the related
cells. Now it will be an absolute paste.

BTW, you can see the related cells by clicking into the formula box at the
top of the sheet.
