How to copy large sections

Q

I know copy all, but if you only want to copy half of a very long document,
is there anything faster than highlighting and scrolling?

Maybe. Put the cursor at the beginning of the selection, jump/scroll to
the end, and hold down Shift while putting the cursor at the end. This
will select all text between the two cursor positions, and usually it's
faster to scroll when you aren't also highlighting text, and requires
less mouse control.

In Word 2007 for Windows, it's possible to copy and store in the clipboard more than one text object at a time. Is this feature available in Word 2008 for the Mac?

Yes it is, but it has been "re-named" to "Scrapbook".

Search in the Mac Word Help for the topic " Store text and graphics for
future use" that will give you a range of options.

Also search for "Spike". The old spike mechanism is still there, although
the help is REALLY hard to find... :)

Cheers
