How to Copy Macros

When I open a MSP File on another machine I lose all the macros and settings.
Is there a way to copy the macros and also the settings?

This is probably happening because your macros and settings (views,
tables, filters, etc.) are stored in the global.mpt file.

You can go to Menu: Tools/Organiser and see a dialog box that allows you
to move things (fields, calendars, forms, views, groups, toolbars,
tables, reports, maps, filters, and modules) from MPP to Global.MPT and
back.

Sounds like you need to move some things out of Global into a specific
MPP file.

There is a help button on that which gives a fuller explanation.

Sorry I have no other explanation.

If you can see from the Organizer that they (presume you mean the
macros, modules, etc.) are there, then what is your indication that they
are not there? What is the error message or what are you doing that is
failing?

I can't understand if they are seen to be there why they aren't there.
A mystery.

I see it in Organizer from the original machine/MS Project that mpp file was
created. If I access that same file with another machine, the macros do not
appear in the mpp.

Does the other PC have macro security set to medium or low? If it has High
macro security that might explain it.
