How to copy or save a photo from a power point presentation

Is there a way that I could save or copy a photo that I like from a power
point presentation that I have received in an email?

I have Windows XP home edition and I have Microsoft office power point
viewer 2003 (the evaluation or trial edition).

PowerPoint Viewer 2003 does not allow you to save photos from a
presentation. You will need the full PowerPoint edition for it.

With PowerPoint Viewer 2003, you can view the presentation. When you come to
the slide containing the photograph, hit Print Screen (prt scrn) key. This
will copy the slide to the clipboard. You can paste this to any photo
editing software or even to Microsoft Paint.

Ah, missed out the viewer part.
Hi M.A. Rousseau,
PowerPoint viewer 2003 is not an evaluation copy.
If you have downloaded PowerPoint 2003 viewer, it is a free viewer that
allows you to view ppt files, there won't be any expiration date.
Unless you meant PowerPoint 2003, then there is an evaulation copy.

Yes! if you allowed to save: Power Point slideshow presentation
pictures can be saved. If you received slideshow/presentation in an
e-mail and you wish to save as the pictures or edit follow the
following steps: NOTE: Do Not open presentation/slideshow by clicking
its filename, power point will play slideshow and you can't edit too:
1. dowload it to your hardisk
2. click start point to program, point to power point then click it to
open 3. in an open power point blank page CLICK OPEN FILE ON THE MENU
or a shorcut folder, then browse your presentation file from your
hardisk as click to open. If a presentation does not password protected
you will see the pictures on the left side of the page where you can
save as or edit one-by-one. If password protected; then you'll be sorry
you can't edit or save it. Hope this help for you. Jerry Dignos

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
I tried this but unfortunately it doesn't work for me.

Once I have saved the .pps to my hard drive, go and click on Start, click on
all programs, click on Microsoft office and then click on Microsoft Office
Power Point 2003, the power point program is opened.

I click on File and on open in the menu.
I then find the location where my power point slide presentation was saved
with a .pps extension and click on the .pps icon.

At this point, all the pictures in this .pps are shown individually but
there is no way in any of the menus to "Save As" or to save any one of the
pictures that are shown.

Am I missing something here? I mean at this point in time of the operation?

Please advise.

Hello again,

Well, I have tried and it still doesn't work.

I'll just forget about doing that.

Thanks for all the replies.
