I would like to copy select appointments from my calendar preferably through
an extract/select process (without having to cut/paste) and copy them to
another calendar that a collegue could use. For example, I would like to
extract/copy all my appointments with media for my marketing director.... any
ideas would be appreciated. we do not have a network. my outlook is stand
alone. Thanks Gerry.

Are you using categories in Outlook?

If yes, change the display to categories, find the one that you want to
share.

1. Create a new calendar (file-new-folder, type=calendar)
2. Select all, then right click and drag your selected category to the new
calendar.
3. Release the mouse and select copy.
4. Export this calandar to a .pst file. (should fit on a USB stick)
5. Sneaker net to the other computer.
6. Copy the file to the hard drive - remove any read only mark from its
properties.
7. Use File->Open->Outlook data file (or personal folders file) and open
the .pst.
8. Change the display to a list view such as categories.
9. Select all, then right click and drag and drop on the calendar.
10. Release the mouse and select move.
11. Right click on the now empty .pst file and select Close.
